Build skills that stay with your team

AI training & adoption

Give each role practical training, approved workflows and someone to turn to when the work gets difficult.

When a licence is only the beginning

For IT, HR and department leaders rolling out AI across a midmarket organization or improving an existing rollout.

True North AI helps teams adopt AI through practice built around their own jobs. We work with department managers and IT on approved uses, workflow guides and rollout support. Follow-up reviews examine completed work and continued use, so managers can see which teams need better access, clearer guidance or further practice.

  • Employees have access to AI tools but struggle to apply them to recurring tasks.
  • Managers give inconsistent answers about which information and uses are approved.
  • Workshop attendance looks encouraging, while day-to-day working habits stay the same.

A scope you can inspect

Agree what gets delivered, what good work looks like, and who takes ownership. Open each part to explore the detail.

Practice built around each role

People learn with the work they actually do.

Exercises use representative work so staff can learn to prepare inputs, question outputs and recognize when they need help.

A question we resolve together

Can participants explain how they prepared and checked a relevant task?

Clear everyday guidance

Approved use becomes easier to understand.

Approved-use guidance explains data boundaries, review expectations and escalation routes in language employees can apply during a task.

A question we resolve together

Do staff know which information is permitted and where to ask for help?

Reusable working materials

Good practice is available after the session.

Task instructions, examples and review checklists give teams a consistent starting point that their owners can maintain.

A question we resolve together

Who keeps the examples, instructions and review checklists current?

A supported rollout plan

Managers can help new habits take hold.

A phased plan connects training, access, manager involvement and follow-up support to the groups adopting each workflow.

A question we resolve together

Do teams have the access, manager involvement and follow-up they need?

Look beyond workshop attendance

Good training shows up in the work. We review whether people can complete relevant tasks, follow the agreed practices and keep using what they learned.

Our approach to measurement

Evidence for the decision

Active use among eligible employees
Use the eligible group as the denominator and account for access barriers.
Quality of completed practice and live tasks
Review useful work against the standard agreed for the role.
Review and approved-use adherence
Check whether people apply the data boundaries and review practices they learned.
Continued use after the initial training
Look for sustained use in relevant work after the initial session.

Agree the starting point, review period and accountable owner before comparing results.

From the first conversation to useful work

Bring the roles you want to support, the AI tools available to them and examples of their everyday tasks. We will shape training around that starting point.

  1. Understand the starting point

Identify eligible roles, existing use, common questions and access barriers. Agree what successful use would look like for each group.

  2. Prepare the right tasks

Select useful activities with department owners and confirm that training examples meet the organization's information-handling requirements.

  3. Practise and review

Guide staff through realistic exercises, including incomplete inputs and plausible mistakes. Have participants explain how they checked their work.

  4. Follow use back into the job

Review adoption and accepted work with managers. Adjust materials and support when a team cannot apply what it learned.

Can you train teams with different experience levels?

Yes. We assess the roles and starting skills in scope, then adapt the exercises and pace. Managers also need guidance for reviewing work and supporting adoption.

Will training cover our own workflows?

That is the starting point. We agree suitable examples with your team and prepare them for use without assuming that confidential material belongs in every tool.

How do you measure adoption?

We combine agreed usage measures with evidence that people can complete relevant tasks to the required standard. Attendance and login counts provide context but do not establish business value.
